Make Calls with Voice Commands

You can make a call on your phone with AI Voice.

Wake up AI Voice and give voice command, such as "Hujiao Maizhe" ("Call Maizhe"), "Dadianhua gei Maizhe" ("Make a call to Maizhe"), or "Chongbo gangcai de dianhua" ("Redial the number you just dialed").

When you make calls with voice commands, hands-free mode is automatically enabled.

Send SMS Messages with Voice Commands

You can send SMS messages with AI Voice.

Wake up AI Voice and give voice commands such as "Fa duanxin" ("Send a message"), "Fa duanxin gei baba" ("Send a message to Dad"), or "Gei baba fa duanxin shuo mama yijing chufa le." ("Send a message to Dad saying Mom has set off").

Answer or Reject a Call Using Voice Commands

  1. Go to Settings > Assistant > AI Voice > Call control, and enable Answer and reject calls.

  2. When you receive a call, simply say "Jieting dianhua" ("Answer the call") or "Guaduan dianhua" ("Reject the call").

 

  • Once an incoming call is answered with voice commands, the call will automatically enter hands-free mode.

  • If other apps or external devices (such as wired headsets and Bluetooth devices) are occupying the microphone of your phone, you cannot answer or end calls using voice commands. For example, when you are in a call, you cannot end the call using a voice command.

Enable Voice Broadcast for Incoming Calls

If your phone is connected to a wearable device (such as a headset or watch) and is set to Sound, your wearable will broadcast the caller's name or notify you of an unknown number when a call comes in.

  1. Go to Settings > Assistant > AI Voice and enable Wake with Power button.

  2. Go to Call control under AI Voice, and enable Voice broadcast incoming calls.

  3. When your phone is set to Sound, the paired wearable will broadcast the caller's name or notify you of an unknown number when a call comes in.

Not all wearable devices support Voice broadcast incoming calls.

Make Calls with a Voice Command with the Screen Locked

  1. Go to Settings > Assistant > AI Voice > Call control, and enable Call when locked.

  2. Wake up AI Voice and give voice commands such as "Hujiao Maizhe" ("Call Maizhe"), "Dadianhua gei Maizhe" ("Make a call to Maizhe"), "Chongbo gangcai de haoma" ("Redial the number").

When you make calls with voice commands, hands-free mode is automatically enabled.
